Our mobile shelving systems come in two different options:
Most of the time we make use of the SET office shelving to fit onto the mobile units.
All our Mobile shelving systems are designed to save floor space.
Each bay runs on a track that is installed on the ground. Only one aisle is required to gain access to the system, which can save you up to 80% of floor space.

Standard Mobile shelving Features:

ECONO ALU-GLIDE
Description
Our Alu-Glide mobile shelving consists of unique low profiled aluminium track with hardened steel inserts which can be installed on most floor surfaces.
All of our Alu-Glide systems are manually operated. (push-pull design)
Tracks do not require fixing which makes the system quick to install, easy to move, easy to relocate or reconfigure. Standard units can be single or double bay and can be locked for security. The Alu-Glide system is perfect for small office environments and even bigger installations like libraries.
Design
This shelving system requires no permanent fixings into the floor. Our Alu-Glide bases can be modified to fit existing shelving if required. All tracks are leveled by the means of shim plates. A fairly level area is required for the units to work properly and a site assessment prior to installation is necessary.
All Shelving systems are fixed on top of the bases. Each single movable base is fitted with anti-tilt brackets for extra stability. Rubber buffers are fitted to the side of the SET shelving where the panels but up against each other.
We can install as many mobile bays in a single run as required for optimum utilization of floor space.
Units come in 2 sizes:
- Single Entry Bays – 950 mm Wide
- Tandem Entry Bays – 1900 mm Wide (2 bays side-by-side)

MECHANICAL ASSITED MOBILE
Description
Our Mechanical Assisted mobile shelving consists of hard drawn steel track that can be installed on most floor surfaces.
Each of the units is mechanically assisted by means of a chain drive operation.
Multiple units can be joined together to maximize the floor space.
These mobiles are mainly used if more than three bays are joined together.
Design
The tracks need to be fixed to the floor surface. A chipboard base can be inserted to create a platform, if required. All tracks are leveled by the means of shim plates. A fairly level area is required for the units to work properly and a site assessment prior to installation is necessary.
All bases to be mechanically operated using a Single/Double reduction system reducing the weight when operating the system. Mechanical assisted base operation is moved by turning a handle which is connected to a drive shaft through a chain and sprocket reduction. The shaft connects all the wheels on one side of the base to ensure that the base runs squarely on the track.
All Shelving systems are fixed on top of the bases. Each single movable base is fitted with anti-tilt brackets for extra stability.

We can install as many mobile bays in a single run as required for optimum utilization of floor space.

• 1 Bay wide = 970 mm
• 2 Bays wide = 1890 mm
• 3 bays wide = 2810 mm
• 4 bays wide = 3730 mm
• 5 Bays wide = 4700 mm
• 6 bays wide = 5620 mm
